About UsOur Arlington child care focuses on education.
In the heart of Arlington, we have teachers who have been here for more than 20 years and second-generation students. Our teachers and students and parents are united because our staff and kids stay here. That’s because we care about your child’s emotional and academic development. We have educational programs based on your child’s intellectual needs. And your child will be with a highly educated, engaged and experienced staff that leads the school.
Why Are We Different
Our educational programs are based on your child’s intellectual needs.
Our Arlington child care uses a developmental checklist to assess the progress of your child throughout the year. We have partnerships with the Texas Literacy Initiative and Arlington public schools. Our Pre-K students take state reading and math tests three times a year. All of this helps us determine what is best for your child when they are at Humpty Dumpty Day School.
We’re united, our staff and kids stay here because they love it here.
Turnover at most schools like ours is high. Statistics show that 25 to 40% of teachers don’t stick around. However, our teachers do. Teachers have been here from five to 25 years. The reason is because we nurture our staff so they will nurture your children. Many of our students stay here for years and grow up with their classmates.
Your child will be with a highly educated, engaged and experienced staff.
We’ve been open since 1959. We’ve learned a lot over the years as one of the most successful Arlington child care facilities. We know that we need to invest in our teachers so they will invest in your children. All our full-time teachers have national child development diplomas. Our executive director and owner, Sharyn Wilding, is personally involved and has been for 35 years. We also make sure students have relationships with all the teachers. That’s why we cross train our teachers and rotate them from class to class.
